5 things not to miss when visiting the Eiffel Tower

Visiting-the-Eiffel-Tower-must-see

When visiting the Eiffel Tower, there is more to see than just the magnificent iron structure. Here are 5 things not to miss when visiting the Iron Lady:

1.) Gustav Eiffel’s bust.
Located on the ground floor at the north pillar.
Makes a great meeting location.

2.) Glass floor.
Located on the first floor.
Are you brave enough?

3.) The driver on the lift.
I love this little whimsical detail.

4.) The original stairs.
Located on the first floor.
Can you imagine this was how Monsieur Eiffel ascending to his office!

5.) Tower twinkling.
Starting at sunset, the tower twinkles every night for 5 minutes on the hour.
Of course, you do not have to be at the tower to see it twinkle.

  1. The answer on the first floor is that, no, I am not brave enough, and start squealing when the rest of my family is… #AllAboutFrance

  2. I love the mock-up of Eiffel’s office somewhere up the tower (can’t remember which floor it’s on, 2nd perhaps). Like Arnie says, this is a lovely unique view of the tower, thanks for linking it to #AllAboutFrance, which is on again tomorrow, hope to see you there!
